The event was hosted by the partner school, Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa Nr. 9 im. H. Sienkiewicza, and brought together delegations of educators and students from Romania, Poland, Croatia, and Turkey. The primary objective of the mobility was to consolidate and evaluate the competencies acquired throughout the project, with an emphasis on promoting a healthy lifestyle and responsible ecological behavior. The agenda included a series of structured activities to facilitate intercultural exchange and the sharing of best practices.
The first day began with the presentation presentations of the partner schools and national cultural specificities, including traditions, tourist attractions, and culinary heritage, thereby strengthening the participants' communication skills and cultural awareness. The pedagogical component featured the "Calendar of health habits challenges" workshop, designed to encourage the adoption of healthy habits. Exploration of the local context was achieved through an interactive "treasure hunt" method, culminating in a working meeting at the Radom City Hall with the deputy mayor, offering participants insight into local administration and civic engagement. Experiential education was a central pillar of the mobility. A visit to the "Wsi Radomskiej" ethnographic museum provided an immersion into local culture and traditions. The culinary workshop put the principles of healthy eating into practice through the preparation of products (bread, butter) with local organic ingredients. Participants also engaged in traditional practical activities (grinding grain, rustic-style laundry, spinning hemp fibers), thus understanding the value of sustainability and craftsmanship.
The next day, all the students and teachers involved in the project took a tourist route in the Jedlnia Letnisko forest, learning a lot of information about plant and animal species. Team sports competitions were also organized here, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Ecological awareness was deepened through a field trip to the Jedlnia Letnisko forest, where elements of local flora and fauna were studied. The latter served as a case study on the role of natural resources in economic development and the importance of responsible exploitation. Organized sports competitions highlighted the benefits of an active lifestyle.
On the third day, the documentary tour of Cracow and Wieliczka took place, which was an opportunity for all participants to visit the salt mine, the Old Town Square, the historical buildings of Cracow, St. Mary's Church, and the Wawel Castle Courtyard. Participants were impressed by the attractions of the mine: dozens of statues, three chapels and an imposing cathedral, which were carved from salt by the miners. The students became aware of the role of natural resources in economic development, but also the importance of responsible resource exploitation.
On the fourth day, the students participated in a tree planting activity in the school park and held sports competitions in the "Park Rozrywki&KokhamSkakac"-Radom. The workshop organized with teachers and students of the host school offered the latter the opportunity to conduct a study on the quality of life, selective waste collection, recycling, promoting healthy eating and stimulating the population to adopt environmentally responsible behavior. At the end of the Erasmus mobility in Radom, Poland, a festival dedicated to June 1st – Children's Day – was held with traditional Polish music and dances, celebrating the local culture, in which students and parents participated. In a friendly setting, the participation diplomas were handed out, marking the end of a memorable educational and cultural experience. The experiences lived this week in Poland constituted an important step in developing a responsible behavior of students and teachers towards the natural and social environment in order to ensure a healthy school environment.
